I think of the road to success as a very murky road, with no signs or aspects of life, but bushy trees and shrubs and old, run-down houses like in the horror movies - in short abandoned, and those who dare tread in those paths are the courageuos and innovative ones. Those who are brave enough to ignore the norms and the status quo. Those wise enough to realize the difference between fitting in and standing out.
I think of the world as very large place, big enough to accommodate all of us, large enough to fit in all our millions of ideas. You see FEAR is a very bad thing. Fear is what causes us not to follow our own paths to self-actualization, Fear is what causes us to follow the crowds, it is what makes us have a crowd-mentality. Ridiculous I say! We all have sets of unique talents, and a plethora of creative ideas that get bogged down when we get caught up in life, and the various rat races that tug along with it. The reason we dont usually push ourselves to the limit is primarily as a result of FEAR-that deep malevolent feeling that is constantly keeping us on that treacherous comfort zone.
An abundance mentality not only entails positive thinking but also realizing that everything works out for the best and that there are too many ways to get there. There are too many ways to achieve our success and goals. Too many. I honestly cannot remember the last time I was anxious-atleast abnormaly so. I think its partly because it has reached a point in life where I have let go of the petty things and taken full control of my life.
Additionally, the reason that every day I strive for my own happiness keeps me aligned accordingly, to my advantage. We have to be innovators. This is a constant control mechanism that will help us have those creative ideas, and in essence tread that abandoned road. By striving to do so every day, we mold ourselves into those people we admire, those people we consider heroes in their own respects. Im sounding like a motivational speaker by the day but what the heck! My character and thoughts have to remain constant irrespective of whatever people think, and it can only change when I conveniently want them to do so. That is the whole essence of creating your own imprint.Yet again, ignore steriotypes. "Be a man, do the right thing"#Russel Peters
