The most sound advise that a father could ever tell his son. . .
"Your world is yours for the taking. You can achieve immeasurably whatever you dream"
Paraphrased from what my father has always told me since I was young. You see everything starts in the mind. We perceive whatever we conceive. We lead our lives according to what is in our minds.
I just watched "The King's speech". The story is about King George VI who found himself in his position as King under queer circumstances. What actually amazes me most is that he found a voice in himself despite the fact that he was a stammerer.
Apparently no one is born a stammerer :-) and the story goes that he was sort of the black sheep, and his bigger brother was more adored. He gets a fantastic speech therapist, a visionary I would say, who enables him find his own unique voice. The most amazing thing is that King George VI becomes a voice of natural resistance that binds the people together prior to the World War II.
My lessons are threefold-Anything is possible. Anything. It is just how you see it and how you go after it. Once we are in a habit of convincing our sub-conscious minds that we can achieve anything, then our mind and bodily functions, our energies are tuned towards a certain cause. Practice practice makes perfect and working on it is drawing the final straw.
"You CANNOT be afraid of those things you were afraid of when you were 5"
The fact that you are still kicking now is because you came from somewhere. At times we get bogged down by our past failures, mistakes and fears. Alas! It is a new day, a new opportunity for you to rebuild and overcome. There are different circumstances now and the reason the past remains in the past is because nothing can be done about it and it ALWAYS has learning opportunities and occurrences to make us wiser.
Lionel Logue (the speech therapist) is also a true visionary. He did not have any qualifications but his innate talent to "give Faith to people's voices" enabled different people to discover their potential. In a world of warped reality we really need to know what we are good at and as we are billions of people with unique persona and abilities, then finding out exactly what works for each of us becomes prime. The truth is that at the end of all of it, we are the ones solely responsible for what we make of our lives.
Know today that you are powerful beyond measure, and what you WILL do will really shock you.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
In the pursuit of opening the new year with a new post, today my thoughts wandered and settled at THE BIGGER PICTURE. I am loving the current progress of my life, the new people I am meeting, the new opportunities that are a grasp away-the abundance is just mind-blowing.
I work for a student's run organization where we aim to instil leadership to cause a positive impact to the society. To be honest at the very beginning I had no fire burning within me to join AIESEC, and I merely took it as a challenge and a way to break the monotony of my Engineering degree. In fact, my first 4 months in the organization were very lax. I could not have imagined an interesting journey and I can say so far so good.
I work with very many people and I therefore get to meet new personalities as well as stereotypes :-) And its wonderful to remain in your element and have a deeper understanding of yourself. And right now my fire is burning brighter and bigger, I feel a renewed sense of ambition and hope that abounds everything. Given the opportunity to do what I do, I do not regret a single bit. Everyday you follow a certain path with a certain aim, you find more and more meaning to it. Being aware of where you are and where you are going makes this picture bigger.
I foresee a very bright future ahead. I know that my efforts are creating a positive impact in my surroundings, my university and even within my friends and those I interact with. The bigger picture is that there is more meaning in a world which is ONE, unified through peace and where everyone feels fulfilled and useful. Empowering people is just that-Helping them find that inner talent, that inner strength, those things within them that can enable them to do more than just the ordinary. That is the BIGGER PICTURE.
At the end of the day, we should aim to be "Ordinary people doing extraordinary things". This is because none of us is really special. It is just that some of us realize that life is too vain and short for us to just accept the norms and do nothing about it. These are the people who realize that there has to be something greater at all times and choose to do something about it. We all have that ability, It only depends on how much we want it. It all boils down to you as an individual, and what you are willing to do with the situation that you are in to get to your goal.
Embrace the bigger picture and do something about it. All the opportunities are right in front of you, you just need to open your eyes and get out of your comfort zone.

The Power Of Love. Conscious Love.
Love increases your level of consciousness. . .
Love encompasses all. Loving others more than you love yourself literally means that you are incapable of having any wrong motive. If we lived in a world where love was power, then the power of love would be so huge that we would feel no pain, no sorrow, no confusion and no problems. Love generates a warm sphere of togetherness and continuously refills itself, regenerating and hence becoming bigger and bigger. It is a butterfly effect that results in a reality of Peace and Harmony.
Today we Christians celebrate Jesus Christ's birth <whether the date is true or not>, what is more important is the season and reason that it bears. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, someone who mortalized himself, suffered beyond comprehension and died for us so that our salvation could be restored. Putting myself in His shoes just seems unbearable. We live in a world where every day is a chance for us to think only about ourselves and how we can materially improve. We live in a world and times when its Me, Myself & I. They even say "whatever works for you". Selfish. We are all one part of a body, and without harmonosing our actions, our goal would be destruction because then there is no common objective. We as Humans are so weak, and on our own, so very powerless. We are not perfect, and striving on and thriving in our own imperfections is detrimental to losing ourselves.
Love is the only chord that binds our souls together. It is the only thing that we do not question, when it comes to our loved ones-family and friends. Love is what gives us that reason to expand our limits and barriers of togetherness. It enables us to go that extra mile. To take that extra chance. To ignore that certain stereotype. Love heals. And I have seen the power of healing in my own way. Energy is everything and it is everywhere. Love is that flame that lights up everything. Love is what binds every thing together. It is what in our lost cause, gives fulfillment to every element. Love gives an opportunity to re-evaluate, re-build and re-furbish. It enables us to start over again.
The bigger picture of love is a world where there is a lot of white, and with a lot of white, comes a lot of light. It is a world where there are a million shooting stars and where the moon is like the sun. Where the sky is an azure of different colors, like a disney land. A land filled with smiles and compassion. A land where every one is your helper and where there is restoration and abundance of resources.
During this period, I dare you to imagine. I dare you to actually picture for a second that kind of world. I dare you to love. To love consciously.

0030HRS. PENASOL AND VODOW. EMPIRE STATE OF MIND.
I think of the road to success as a very murky road, with no signs or aspects of life, but bushy trees and shrubs and old, run-down houses like in the horror movies - in short abandoned, and those who dare tread in those paths are the courageuos and innovative ones. Those who are brave enough to ignore the norms and the status quo. Those wise enough to realize the difference between fitting in and standing out.
I think of the world as very large place, big enough to accommodate all of us, large enough to fit in all our millions of ideas. You see FEAR is a very bad thing. Fear is what causes us not to follow our own paths to self-actualization, Fear is what causes us to follow the crowds, it is what makes us have a crowd-mentality. Ridiculous I say! We all have sets of unique talents, and a plethora of creative ideas that get bogged down when we get caught up in life, and the various rat races that tug along with it. The reason we dont usually push ourselves to the limit is primarily as a result of FEAR-that deep malevolent feeling that is constantly keeping us on that treacherous comfort zone.
An abundance mentality not only entails positive thinking but also realizing that everything works out for the best and that there are too many ways to get there. There are too many ways to achieve our success and goals. Too many. I honestly cannot remember the last time I was anxious-atleast abnormaly so. I think its partly because it has reached a point in life where I have let go of the petty things and taken full control of my life.
Additionally, the reason that every day I strive for my own happiness keeps me aligned accordingly, to my advantage. We have to be innovators. This is a constant control mechanism that will help us have those creative ideas, and in essence tread that abandoned road. By striving to do so every day, we mold ourselves into those people we admire, those people we consider heroes in their own respects. Im sounding like a motivational speaker by the day but what the heck! My character and thoughts have to remain constant irrespective of whatever people think, and it can only change when I conveniently want them to do so. That is the whole essence of creating your own imprint.Yet again, ignore steriotypes. "Be a man, do the right thing"#Russel Peters

1935HRS. INDIVIDUALITY.
Today i've realized the importance of conversation-yet again. And not gossip, empty talk as such. It struck me again how much there is to learn. This only happens when you realize you are a sole entity. When you feel the need to shape your own self, your core character, that is when you see clearly the importance of you forming your own beliefs-not only religious but also in retrospect to all the rules and taboos. Because what is taboo to you, may be a belief to another. . .
Boundaries are very relative-a bit opinionated and thus the importance of us being strongly ground on our opinions-the only way to achieve this is through going through a period of truth seeking. I continue to understand the fact that we shape our own realities, because i appreciate the fact that we all live in our own worlds-in our heads atleast. . . So what is your reality, may not be mine. . . Propaganda. . .
There is so much information and norms that go around that we barely find the time to question them, in essence to find out more about ourselves and to find our own, unique realities. And we live in a world where systems are already put in place for us that shape our efforts towards a certain goal, a mission and vision, some of which differ with ours. I feel a bit appalled by systems that enslave us and kill that warm buzz of creativity and innovation-a world where we get to set our own unique preferences. Yes, I know that would lead to a very chaotic environment but seing that we can not beat the system(s), we can only change our individuality.
Call it the education system, the political system, the employment 'sector', religion even. . . It is time we actually eroded all the norms of the society-and not the ones that are beneficial to us-but the ones that cage us and make us slaves within the relevant environments. It is time we engaged ourselves to radical ideas, maintaining a sense of composure and calm, so that we live like we were really meant to in the garden. A life where we get to realize our full potentials naturally, where necessity brings out our innovative ideas, where we have barren land-work based on our creativity and sheer foresight depending on cognitive and well thought out mentalities-conscious mentality. . .
The world is ours to conquer, but not all shall prevail, success only dependant on who will learn not to take things too seriously to the point of brainwash or enslavement, but focusing on what is relevant for us positively and ultimately what works for us and having a mind open enough to allow a variety of view points with Grace and Wisdom.

A thousand suns-bright and revamped
Taking action for me is the only difference between those who succeed and those who don't,
Those who are in control of their lives and those who are robots,
controlled by the systems that so enthrall us in this world that we live in.
Those who call themselves leaders, and those who lead. . .
Apparently i pride myself as one who thinks beyond the apparent,
so do my friends, who call themselves "deep"
But it got me thinking,
whats the difference between us and those who are supposedly "shallow"
Whats the use of having weapons yet we do no use them?
Or a plethora of ideas that we do no realize?
Or passions, and talents that we do not utilize?
At what point do we just put our feasts down and say enough is enough,
and TAKE ACTION??
The say you cannot change the world unless you change your core being,
and the truth in that statement bares a lot of meaning. . .
Because you see, our core being is our beliefs,
our principles,
our lines of thought,
our 'cliches' and our standard behaviours,
because these shape our character ultimately,
and it is the reason we wake up every morning with renewed zeal,
the reason that makes each and every one of us create meaning in our lives.
Well so now we are deep, what next?
now we have changed the way we look at things. . . what next?
Take action. . .
Personally i'm a firm believer of making the world a better place. . .
Seeing other people smile and happy gives me some sort of fulfillment,
but i cant just sit there and do nothing. . .
So you'll ask, what have you done?
For one, I have joined AIESEC which I believe is a great platform for me to CAUSE IMPACT,
As it enables me interact with people I can be able to help people to channel their views to a more positive cause,
And they can in turn help me practice what i preach,
because we never fully understand everything,
and every new day is a new opportunity to learn something new,
From the environment, from the people around us,
From the most wise and even to the most disregarded.
Moreover, I am taking up leadership,
because for me that is taking action, being courageous
because people usually lack the gusto to do so.
You have to give so that you can take,
I realize that the road ahead is full of responsibilities,
but i am also jovial because i know that i am donating my most valuable and expensive asset,
TIME,
to a better cause,
I am not just sitting and watching. . . and waiting. . .
Because it is time we did something,
It is time we put our feasts down,
and follow our passions without excuses,
without vampire thinking (read negative thinking)
So shall we join hands and make a commitment,
to get out of our shells,
and reach out,
to that deep, hidden passion,
that opportunity,
because time waits for no man,
and you know what they say about regret:
"If only. Those must be the two saddest words in the world"
Let us embrace our youth,
and pumping blood in this age,
and use it to do something useful,
LET US AWAKEN and TAKE ACTION

QUOTE 101
Conscious mentality manifests luminous reality, creating eternal virality - 'Wildalchemist'
Perfect peace, contentment & happiness are attained only after one detaches themselves from the outcome of all external circumstances. . .
The sun shines and warms and lights us and we have no curiosity to know why this is so; but we ask the reason of all evil, of pain, and hunger, and mosquitoes and silly people. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. ~Winston Churchill
To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with spring. ~George Santayana
Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same. ~Francesca Reigler
If you want to be happy, be. ~Leo Tolstoy
Happiness pulses with every beat of my heart. ~Terri Guillemets
The line between positivity and negativity is very thin, so is the line between living life and being miserable. You are ultimately the one who decides where to stand - 'The Guardian'
